Astrid is back in the studio recording new tunes for her next CD to be released in Feb 2008

Astrid’s song “The Key” will be heard on MTV/logo television series Exes & Oh’s.

On February 17, from 12-2PM, Astrid will be performing at Vancouver Library Square as part of My Generation, A Festival of Power, along with hip hop group The Influents. The event features an afternoon of activity and art celebrating the role and importance of our water, and the power and jobs it produces.

Astrid has received a BRAVO Grant with her crew to do a music video/dancefilm for the song Turn Me Loose. Noam Gagnon from Holy Body Tattoo is the choreographer. This will be shot in the spring of 2007.

Astrid’s father, conductor Wim Sars, passed away Aug 8, 2005 in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
